7-11 Missile

The 7-11 Missile, named because they can be found everywhere, is a general purpose guided missile which is capable of causing heavy damage to fighter class ships, and light damage to larger freighters. They are generally ineffective against Space Stations and large cruisers / destroyers.

Chaff Bombs are generally a good defence against these missiles, as is "short-jumping" to another location in the same sector. 7-11 Missiles have a short range and a fairly large turning arc, which makes them easy to avoid in a nimble ship. They can also be shot down with most laser and plasma weapons.
